Painting

Some years ago, at a time when I was becoming temporarily disillusioned with photography, I started painting with oils, tempera and watercolour.

Inspiration? Too much even to try mentioning. A couple of artists who I like mention though are Andrew Wyeth, just admire his style a lot and Peter Poskas, whose style I also admire, but whose book also gave me very practical guidance when starting to paint with oils.

The thumbnail on the left is an oil sketch of the center of the village of Greve in Chianti, Italy. Size 30 x 38 cm, Oil on canvas board.
