Ruurlo is in one of the most beautiful parts of The Netherlands - my
opinion of course - the country side is absolutely glorious. One landmark
you will find there is the timbermill Agneta. Very, very interesting.
Search on the web for "houtzaagmolen agneta" to find out more. I
saw it for the first time in 1995, eleven years on saw it again and
decided to make a woodcut print of it.
Had to man the fork lift and shuffle a few stacks of timber around.
This
is printed on Kochishi, a heavy Japanese paper, buff natural colour. I
used black water based printing ink applied with a brayer and printed by hand
